STADIUMCROSS

This is the series that you've been waiting for. It's time once again for StadiumCross! The most unique RC racing series in the known universe (I would surmise that statement also applies to the unknown universe). This series has been around a lot of years and continues to be a popular race destination. Let me briefly explain what makes this program so vastly different yet so wildly popular.

It's in the qualifying. Always in the qualifying.
Instead of running 'qualifiers,' heat races are run. This is heads up racing at its best. You're not looking so much at times as you are worried about beating the competition in your heat race. The winner of each heat race will advance straight to the main - and won't run any more heat races. This is where it gets interesting. Some racers don't want to win their first heat and miss out on the second and third rounds so they pull off the track or slow to a crawl to prevent taking the win. Sounds good on paper. But what if they run into some unforeseen snag, snafu, hitch, or some-other-such thing? They're relegated to the B or worse. It's happened before, and it'll happen again. TQ bragging rights will come out of the first round only. Since the first round is the only round where ALL of the racers are participating, it's only fair to bestow TQ rights upon the fastest first round winner. Racers not advancing straight to the A main will be seeded into the B and lower mains based solely on laps/time. If for some silly reason a class doesn't have enough entries to go to a B main, all racers in that class will be able to run all three rounds of qualifying, and TQ will go to the fastest overall time.

NEW FOR 2006!!
A new addition for '06 is the 1/8 Pro class. If you've got a full factory ride, this is the class for you. If you think you've got what it takes to run with the big dogs, this is the class for you. If you want a shot at the biggest payout, this class is for you. 100% of the 1/8 pro class entries will be paid out to the winners of the 1/8 Pro class. You read it right, 100%!! I know, I know... It's Crazy. Unthinkable. Untested. Unbelievable. Borderline Unlawful. Intriguing. Alluring. Seductive. Etc...

In addition, we'll offer myriad classes as usual:
1/8 Expert
1/8 Sportsman
Gas Truck Expert
Gas Truck Sportsman
Monster Truck
Truggy

The expert classes will receive cash winnings at each race. The other classes will get prizes at each race and trophies at series end.

RC Raceway and Hobbies - Waco, TX
Indy RC World - Garland, TX
N-Control RC - Austin, TX
Speed Racer Hobby - Richardson, TX
The finale we hope to hold at a supersweet locale, the details of which are not yet available.
